Privacy policy
STILL A DRAFT — DO NOT PUT THIS ON A PUBLIC SITE. The controller’s address, the contact e-mail and the supervisory authority below are real. Outstanding: the hosting provider and its log retention period. The controller is named here as LieferantenCheck to match the imprint — if that page ends up carrying the operator’s legal name, this one has to say the same thing. A privacy policy describing processing this site does not carry out is a liability rather than a safeguard, so check the payment section against what is actually configured under Alerts → Settings before publishing. These are German and EU statutory duties and they apply whatever language the page is written in.

Data minimisation as a principle
This website sets no cookies, embeds no external fonts, maps or analytics services
and uses no tracking. There is therefore no consent banner.
Server log files
The host [name of host] processes technically necessary access data when a page is
requested (IP address, time, resource requested, user agent). The legal basis is
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: [number] days. A data processing agreement under
Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Report form
Details submitted through the report form are processed solely in order to check the
report (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To prevent abuse a hash of the IP address is held for ten
minutes; the IP address itself is never stored in clear text.
External payment services
Donations are handled through Ko-fi, PayPal and Stripe. Following a donation link
takes you off this website and that provider’s own privacy terms apply. No payment data
is collected or processed on this website.
This list and Alerts → Settings have to be changed together: the footer and the
donation block show exactly the providers that have a real URL configured there, so
adding or removing one is also a change to this section.
Publication of third-party data
What is published is domain names, register data and role-based company e-mail
addresses. Personal data of natural persons is not published. The legal basis is the
legitimate interest in warning against financial loss (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data
portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory
authority. For a controller established in Kaiserslautern the competent authority is
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz,
Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz.
